The second release in the Lo & Behold® Series, the 'Purple Haze' Butterfly Bush is a dwarf that grows in a dense arching mound to about 3 feet in height with a spread or 4 to 5 feet. In late spring to early summer abundant arching clusters of honey-scented purple flowers begin to aoppear and keep coming all the way to frost in fall, which the butterflies, hummingbirds and beneficial pollinators will certainly appreciate. Its smaller size makes Purple Haze a good fit as an accent in smaller garden spaces or in groupings or as a low hedge or border where space allows. As with all butterfly bush this one is drought tolerant when established and deer turn their nose up to it.
