Tara Prairie Dropseed #1

Tara is a dwarf selection of a wonderful native plant. Selected in northern Illinois and completely cold hardy, this ornamental grass has all the benefits of Prairie Dropseed in a smaller package. In August, the flowers rise above the foliage and have a sweet fragrance. As the seed ripens, they elegantly arch over. The foliage turns mostly yellow, and finally light brown all winter long.
