Shamrock Plant

Oxalis regnellii (Green Shamrock Oxalis). Sun to Part Sun. Zone-7 to zones-10 or indoors. 6 in. tall. Origin: S. America. This selection of the popular Oxalis is composed of olive-green leaves. In late spring, the clumps are topped with pure white flowers. General Description: These non-invasive natives of South Africa and South America produce mostly 5 petaled flowers on 3, sometimes 4 leafed plants that make wonderful mounds in our garden from June-October. They're particularly wonderful in partial shade, but don't seem fussy about being in full sun even during our hot, humid summers. They also make excellent house plants.
